Basic Class Supply List For Any Class - You Will Need To Bring:

 

There may be an additional supplies required, depending on the class - be sure to check.  You'll be expected to be prepared before class.

  • Your sewing machine, in good working order

  • Your sewing machine’s foot control & power cord

  • All the accessories included with your machine (feet, seam ripper, etc)

  • The sewing machine’s instruction manual (if you have one)

  • At least one empty bobbin

  • Extra, new sewing machine needles

  • Thread

  • Pen/pencil for taking notes

CHOOSE YOUR ‘PRIVATE CLASS’ FROM THIS LIST:

 

B – “MY ONE HOUR SHIRT”…$35; the pattern is included. This super easy wardrobe basic looks great on everyone! Make it hip length or long enough to be a tunic or dress! I love to use rayon batiks, but it would be nice in any woven fabric. Allow 2 hours to complete this project.

 

B – “KNOW YOUR NEW BERNINA #1”…$45; FREE if you own a new Kelly J’s Bernina 4, 5 or 7 series machine.  Learn all about your new, amazing machine! I’ll guide you through your machine’s, feet/functions/features so that you’ll get the fullest value and fall even more in love with her!  Allow 1 hour per session

 

B – “SERGING MADE SIMPLE”…$45 FREE to Kelly J's new machine owners.  You won't be comfortable with your serger until we help you with threading, tension & handling your fabric while serging; they are so different than your sewing machine! Allow for 2 hrs.

 

B – “MAKE YOUR SEWING MACHINE YOUR FRIEND”…$45  Threading your machine and winding bobbins, properly, is more important than you might expect. Discover why you should use a certain sewing machine needle, the differences in thread & lots of little hints that will be sure to make your machine your ‘best friend’! Any make or model of home sewing machine welcome.  Allow 2hrs for this class

 

AB – “FREE HAND QUILTING by MACHINE”…$45   Discover how your sewing machine can help you quilt any size project, even a bed sized quilt! I’ll share with you my own tips, tricks and tools that make free-motion machine quilting one of my very favorite things to do with a sewing machine! Allow 2 hrs. for this class
